|I was born in the little town of Power Station, Indiana at a very young age. I graduated from Redkey High School and then received my BS degree from Ball State University. About that time I responded to God’s call to become a pastor. I then entered Asbury Theological Seminary. After that graduation, I was assigned to my first Indiana church. I have been serving as Pastor at Indiana churches since. After a few years of service I then received a further degree from Drew University.|
|Born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. Married 19 years to Phil Walters. I have a daughter Carly Myers that is married and lives in Fort Wayne. My husband and I own a small plumbing business and we have two beautiful dogs. I enjoy reading, love all kinds of animals and gardening.|
I started singing in church choir at age 7 at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, Ohio and grew up in the music ministry of that church. I have studied organ at that church with Gloria Wendel. Also, have studied choral conducting and education at Ohio State University. I am retired from Kroger with 30 years of service. I have been in church music for the past thirty-some years serving United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, American Baptist, United Methodist, and Church of the Brethren denominations. I have been involved in church music for 57 years of my life. I consider this a great privilege and honor to serve in this manner.
